INTERVIEW WITH HOLGER STENSBECK, BNP PARIBAS.

INTALUS: Mr. Stensbeck, can you tell us why you chose the Grand Central Browser?

STENSBECK: In general, there is a need in our specialist departments to be able to access data from WM Datenservice at any time. We looked at several vendors to see who could meet those needs. We also discussed an in-house development.

INTALUS: What was crucial to your decision?

STENSBECK: First of all, we were impressed by the extremely comfortable operation of the Grand Central browser interface. Especially interesting is the possibility that each department can create their own individual profiles and have an individual compilation of the data immediately available with only a few mouse clicks. Of course, the cost was an essential criterion. In contrast to alternative offers, based on usage-based compensation, Grand Central gives us the necessary cost certainty with its monthly flat rate.

INTALUS: Do query- or volume-dependent costs play such a big role?

STENSBECK: For small banks, that may not be so important. For us, however, as one of the largest custodian banks and providers of fund administration services, volume-based costs are an incalculable risk. We have already used such systems, causing costs of thousands of euros a month. The acquisition of the Grand Central Browser has therefore already been amortized within a year.

INTALUS: Apart from the pure facts, what were the other motivations?

STENSBECK: Of course, the good experiences we have received with Intalus in recent years also played a role. Service and support could not be better, and due the direct contact with the development management, we have been able to directly influence the design of many features. We have received the equivalent of a tailor-made suit which will grow with our future requirements.

INTALUS: One last question. Would you recommend the Grand Central Browser?

STENSBECK: Most definitely.
